Water is an amazing substance. Obviously, we need it for daily survival.

But, did you know that water is less dense when it freezes? Because of this, as bodies of water ice over, they create a life-sustaining barrier for plant and animal life during winter months. Also, water forms surface tension with the surrounding walls of plant cells. It is because of this capillary action that plants can defy gravity and draw up water which is needed in photosynthesis and survival.

Water often symbolizes life in the Bible (Jesus tells the woman at the well He can provide living water. In Jeremiah, God refers to Himself as the Spring of living water). Sometimes, when I take a drink of water, I reflect on its life-sustaining properties. May we not forsake the Well that will not run dry. Thanks for your continued interest in my music!
